Photoshop Final

This final project was to create a package for cereal. I came up with the title on the fly and thought it was funny, so I went with it. The package not looking super professional was intentional; I wanted this to look like something really sketchy (hence the "Morally Ambiguous") made by a small, suspicious company. couldn't find a good image of a bowl with colored flakes, so I had to recolor each flake from a regular-colored bowl of flakes...the green smoke cloud of doom was fun to create and edit, too.

Glogster

Made this with glogster.com. Watch out, that first video is kinda gross!

PowToon

PowToon.com lets you make presentations with nice animations and music. Kinda makes the computer lag, though.

Car Photoshop Project

I took an image of my favorite kind of car (Nissan Cube!) and made it look like it was from the movie Cars. It was pretty fun, but tiring because I had to recolor the whole car to make it that green like I wanted.

Photoshop Color Replacements

Both of these were recolors made in Photoshop.

This one was made using desaturation and a mask.

This recolor was done with the color replacement tool.

PicMonkey Creative Image

I got inspiration for this image from the weird seasonal changes we've had lately -- even though summer is near (hence the birds, butterflies, and trees), we've still had some colder days (hence the cool colors and darker tones of the background).

Harry Potter Trailer

This is a fake Harry Potter trailer our group made in class. The first song is Richet by Mark Petrie (don't even talk about how it was used in the Breaking Dawn trailer, ok, I saw it a long time ago used in a video for something completely different (and way cooler)), the second one in the credits is Pulse by Sta, and the last is a royalty-free song called Monkeys Spinning Monkeys.

This was done with thinglink.com. I ended up making a (completely not serious) "presentation" on the facial anatomy of this cat.

Photo Story

I made this video in PhotoStory. The music was made with Sony ACID Music Studio 7.0, using a combination of pads included in the program, piano loops by looperman.com user Minor2Go, and a choir loop from looperman.com user Dextdee. The images are from the game "Journey", edited by myself in Photoshop.

The Golden Goat Bridge

A man flies away on his trusty stereo system to do battle in the sky with a rapidly approaching jet whilst dreaming of his boat family that he longs to return to at the end of his quest.

FONDONG NOMO

This image tells a gripping re-telling of the classic Finding Nemo. In this alternate story, the wizard named "Arry Porrer" kidnaps the young Nemo and curses his father by cloning him multiple times. Accompanied by a jovial shark that swims upside-down and a blue fish that is constantly amazed by everything, the cloned father travels all over the Angry Lake to ask where his son has been taken.

Sometimes they blow things up.

Elements of Design Prezi

WeaveSilk

One of my favorite websites has always been weavesilk.com. It's another color therapy-esque site that you can make neat and intricate designs with (plus, it comes with nice, ambient music!). Here's a few "silks" I made.

This one, along with the next, took relatively little time.

I didn't name the first and second ones because they were mostly just warm-ups. The next ones will just have their names beneath.

Ray Kurzweil "Future-Predicting" Article

This article about Google's Ray Kurzweil and his predictions for the future are amazing! Personally, I found the "Stay Young Forever" prediction for 2040 and the "Full-Immersion Virtual Realities" prediction for 2023 to be the most interesting. Seriously, though; in just 9 years I could use virtual reality technology, and in 26 I could potentially live forever?! That's awesome!

Google Glass

This is an image for the new product, Google Glass. It's designed to act as a connection to the internet built into glasses for ease of use.

Honestly, I can't stand the technophobia-esque attitude going on lately. There most certainly is a line that can be crossed, but advancing our technology doesn't instantly mean that we're "devolving" or "on the wrong track". Everyone needs to quit acting like terrified ostriches with their heads in the ground!

These things look awesome, in my honest opinion (not liking the idea of advertisements, though; keep that to desktops and phones, Google, people still need to see things, yikes!).

The Groom in a Wedding Wears a -Tagxedo-

I made this wordcloud on tagxedo.com! The image and text is from a series I enjoy. (I know it looks creepy with a bunch of giant "kill" words all over but it's not any sort of horror series!)

also that joke. that joke in the title. so funny. im hilarious

bleckbester (The Onion's "Blockbuster Tour" Video)

Watched The Onion's video on Blockbuster. Made me pretty sad. I miss my mom telling me I couldn't get any video games.

Google Doodle

This Google Doodle is a fun little point-and-click game in reference to the Roswell event. This game was in the place of the iconic logo on the main search screen on Roswell's 66th anniversary.

Get to Know Me

Hello, my name is Elizabeth and this is my blog. I am currently a junior in high school. Here's a few points of interest about me:

1. This is most certainly my only experience with blogging. Yes. Very true. And, in the case that I did have any past or current experience -- which I do not -- that experience would be very professional. In that case, I would most certainly be an upstanding person on said, completely hypothetical other blog. Most certainly. I am not immature in the slightest, and would never consider to stoop to the level of horrid grammar and disdainful jokes. Totally.

2. I have a super special secret about myself that I have not revealed to anyone in my day-to-day life. (Mostly because no one has ever asked.)

3. My life can be completely and accurately summarized by the recorder cover of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On".

4. Soon I will complete my transformation into a butterfly. If anyone in my class were lucky enough to be there when it happens, they would see me gracefully fly out of the window into the open sky. And, by that, I mean that when I finally snap mentally, they would get to watch me jump out the window screeching.

5. Fruit salad, yummy yummy. Fruit salad, yummy yummy.
